The performance ensemble of Maria's Basement & the duo Ben Gardner's Boat will take the stage to weave tales out of just thin air and audience suggestions! And as if that weren't enough, they'll also be joined by another duo; Cardboard Box! What's in the box? Even they don't know yet! --and hold on! What?!?! We'll also be showcasing new talent! Joining us for the first time will be The Regulars, an improv troupe from Schenectady that has a unique ensemble format which puts the "fun" in funeral! It's to die for! We'll also have 2 MA-NY Improv, the improv duo that exists in at least two states at once! What will they do? Their comedy is fluid, their act is solid, and it'll be a gas!
Admission is $12.75 online or $15 at the door.

Friday, April 17th - 7:30 PM
Theme: Sips of Compassion
Some of us might find it easy to have compassion for others and more difficult to have compassion for ourselves. When we cultivate self-compassion, we engage ourselves with loving kindness and a tender, open heart. Like a seedling, compassion needs to be gently nourished so that it can grow. Growth happens one sip at a time. Join us for an evening of exploring self-compassion.
Open Sessions are 2 to 2 1/2 hour psychodrama sessions offered by certified psychodramatists to the general public. No experience necessary. You may participate as little or as much as you want.
Recommended Contribution: $20/$15 for students and those on limited income. Proceeds go to support Boughton Place.
